Our Staff...

Debra McCullough is a Tulsa native who graduated from Edison High School and the University of Oklahoma and is continuing her master's degree in rehabilatation counseling. After years of working as a Business Analyst for MCI World Com, God gave her a vision of a school where the broken hearted and forgotten could have a safe place, a hope, and a future. In 2005 she piloted a drop out recovery program called "Hope4kids" which later grew into the Tulsa Hope Academy due to the overwhelming demand. Utilizing her 15 years of experience in technology, she developed a technology driven, teacher facilated, student centered blended school model.

Helen Minick comes to Tulsa Hope with over 35 years experience in education and serves as the our site principal and registrar. She has a Bachelor's from Northeastern State University and a Master's in Education Administration from the University of Kansas and held several positions from coach to assistant superintendant.
K.T. Johnson serves as the Campus Chaplain, Male Student Advisor, and Outreach Coordinator. Prior to coming to Tulsa Hope Academy, K.T. spent over 10 years in Technology and Business. His expertise in business, insurance, and the financial sectors includes working for such companies as AOL and Verizon. In 2006 K.T. founded SafeHouse Music, which has partnered with Tulsa Hope, to provide a dynamic, creative arts platform for at-risk and high-risk youth.
K.T. is Affiliate Director for Youth for Christ Tulsa and assists and collaborates with the Tulsa Hope Executive Director in partnership and program development. His primary focus is mentoring high-risk youth within the juvenile detention system. K.T. has a wonderful wife, Krystal of 13 years and two children Adan & Sabina.

Cassia Carr
Female Campus Chaplain
Tulsa native Cassia Carr is our female chaplain at Tulsa Hope Academy. Cassia leads praise and worship with her father, Pastor CJ Jacobs Jr. Cassia is completing her law degree from The University of Tulsa. She is married to Joel Carr and is a new mother to her lovely daugher Georgia.

Joshua Forbes
Dance Instructor
Josh Forbes is our dance instructor for THA and ORU graduate. He comes to us with an abundance of national experience and has had the privelege of learning from some of the most influential people in the industry. Welcome Josh!!!!

Pastor CJ Jacobs Jr. was born and raised in Tulsa Oklahoma in a large family. He has worked his way up the ranks in several job positions including real estate and banking. Growing up as a youth in hard times, he has dedicated his life to making the lives of young inner city children more productive. He has been the Tulsa Hope Academy campus pastor since 2005 and he has been a youth partor at Victory Christian Center for 8 years.

Mark Stahleim received his Bachelor's of Arts in Speech, Drama, and Education from Augustane College in Sioux Falls, SD. During his education, he received 8 yrs of vocal training. In 2007, he relocated to Tulsa to attend Victory Bible Institute and graduated in 2009 with an Associates in School of Worship. He received his ministry license is 2010 through Victory Fellowship of Ministries and is an ordained minister. Mark is an Oklahoma certified K-12 teacher.

Please welcome Ruth Ketcham, our director of Creative Arts. She directs and coordinates the performing and visual arts deparment. In addition, she is the director of after school and outreach programs including Red12, a performing arts discipleship team of youth, mentored in dance, drama, voice and discipled in the Spirit and the Word.
She is also the founder and director of Heartdance
Ministries, a Christian theatrical company in Tulsa. During her leadership, she became a published author and playwright. She has had an extensive experience in several ministry related areas over the past 33 yrs. Ruth is completing her Bachelor's degree from Kentucky Christian College majoring in Christian Education.

Dawn Carter
"Inflamed" Choir Director
Dawn is our "Inflamed" Choir Director. She has been singing most of her life and is very active in our community and local church. Welcome Dawn!!!
