Creative Arts Camp 2013

Local Artist Greg Mann spends time with students teaching drawing techniques

Thanks to local sponsors we completed a lot of our much needed renovation for our Dance Studio that current doubles as a school room

Tulsa Hope Academy hosted our first Creative Arts Camp July 9th - 11th, 2013.
K.T. Hallel of SafeHouse Music which is now a part of Tulsa Hope Academy and School of Creative Arts introduced the students to the art of recording music. He also taught them how to incorporate a positive message into rap music.
The students were introduced to creative movement as the members of Red12 taught the dance class. Red12 is also now a part of Tulsa Hope Academy and School of Creative Arts.
Tulsa artist Greg Mann of Mann Graphics taught the students graphic art in the form of line drawing, pastels, as well as charcoal drawing. Greg also designed a skyline mural of downtown Tulsa buildings which the students and Greg painted on the entrance wall inside our school.
Many thanks to our sponsors who helped to make our Art/Music camp possible:
We can hardly wait for Creative Arts Camp 2014!!
